TEA State Accountability Overview
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) uses an accountability rating system for schools in Texas.  Almost every school will receive one of two ratings, Met Standard or Improvement Required.  These ratings are based on four basic areas: Student Achievement, Student Progress, Closing Performance Gaps and Postsecondary Readiness.  For more information, please visit www.tea.texas.gov.
