FYI:
The following gyms will be shut down to re-surface the floors on Monday, July 7 and will not be available until Monday, July 14: High School, Middle School and Annex.
Do not get on the floors even if they look dry! It takes a few days to cure and having traffic too early can cause major issues.

Thanks to the Wall Education Foundation, H2O has been able to start the process of transforming our garden into a sensory garden! A huge thank you to the WEF for their generous donation, to the H2O members for their hard work, to Brandon Braden for assisting the students with cleaning out the garden, to Kevin Porche at Sherwin Williams for donating the paint for the fence, and to Scherz Landscape for the stunning plants! We look forward to continuing to enhance this beautiful space over time for students to enjoy!
If you would like to donate to the WEF (Wall Education Foundation) head over to https://www.wallisd.net/o/wall-isd/page/about-the-education-foundation to make a donation. Donations can also be given right now through San Angelo Gives an online giving event benefiting non-profits.

UIL Digital Animation Champions! Students have had a lot of success at making it to and medaling at this contest in the UIL Film Festival. Team members were:
Lily Terrell – Lead Animator/Director/Producer/Lead Artist, Elisha Armstrong – Artist
Owen Ripple – Color Palette Artist, Elle Peterson – Line Artist, Wesley Terrell – Line Artist/Sound Effects, Ellie Henry – Editing, Lillian Wilson – Voice Actor
Lily Terrell was the main and initially only animator, but as a tight deadline approached the very talented group above banded together to help. Each was essential to helping her finish by the deadline and enhancing the animation above competing ones.

VASE Art Competition Work Over 300 students from Region 15 competed at the Regional and Area Visual Arts Scholastic Event this past weekend. 19 students from Wall entered the contest and interviewed Saturday morning. 8 received a superior rating and a regional medal, and 10 received an area medal and advanced to STATE! Out of the 300 pieces that were entered, only 24 advanced to state, so please congratulate these students if you see them. I am putting together a slideshow of the art for those who couldn't make it to the show in person, and I will email it ASAP. Shout out to 3rd grade! They braved the cold last week and came to the art show. They also voted on a student for the Kids Choice Award, and D'Laney Holifield was the winner. Thank you to everyone who supports these students and their art, especially the teachers who allowed a few of them to spend a little extra time in the art room making final touches the past couple of weeks! Regional Medalists:
Ayden Bustamante, Sophia Fuchs, Ella Hoelscher, Thomas Leanos, Madeline Searsy (2 pieces), Adriel Stinnett, Avery Wall and Jacey West. Regional and Area Medalists Advancing to State - Rylee Barrett, Ella Bowman, Amaris Farias, Charlie Hill, D'Laney Holifield, Addison Sowell, Audrey Sowell, Lily Terrell, Catherine Wearden (2 pieces), Addison Wearden
