8th grade technology students experenced a lesson covering farming technology which our local farmers deal with everyday . They had the opportunity to listen to John Deere Product Manager, Alisha Schwertner! She shared how technology is shaping the future of agriculture—from designing equipment and setting field boundaries for self-driving machines to testing autonomous farm equipment that farmers will soon use in the field. Farming is a technically advanced , hands on career that feeds our nation daily.

Wall Hawk tennis team played host at the Big Spring High School courts (4) to Lubbock Cooper Liberty and Ft Stockton. Beginning play against LCL @8:30AM, the Hawks united to pull off a 10-7 win followed by additional wins to wrap up the morning. By 3 PM, we were back on courts against 4A Ft Stockton. Impressive doubles lead with 6-1 count, followed by singles battles that would top the win off 10-2. Congratulations to all!

Attention: With student safety in mind please be advised of a state law pertaining to cell phone use for all drivers in an active school zones. Please be advised that Wall ISD continues to have the support of additional law enforcement presence to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

Wall ISD 2025-2026 Cell Phone Changes: State Law (HB1481) prohibits students from using personal electronic devices on school property during school instructional hours beginning in 2025-2026. No Cell Phones- Smart Phones, Flip Phones ect. No Smart Watches-Smart Watches, fitness trackers ect. No Bluetooth Earbuds/Headphones - Air Pods and other wireless earbuds/headphones that connect to personal deivices - wired headphones may be used with Chromebooks. Texas Legislature passed all reduced priced meals for student breakfast and lunches to be served at no charge to the students. Reduced priced meals will be free to reduced students for the next 2 years starting September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2027. If your child has already qualified for reduced meal lunches, August will still be charged at .40 per lunch. Breakfast is still free.
