Our WHS advanced science classes were able to travel to Seaworld and Texas Biomedical Research Center in San Antonio thanks to the Wall Education Foundation!
Students received a “behind-the-scenes” tour of the aquatic animal habitats and learned about the care of the animals on site. They were also treated to a CRISPR presentation at the research center and conducted a lab testing their own genes to see whether they are genetically morning people or night owls! 🐬🧬

Due to the possiblility of winter weather expected this weekend the Visual Arts Scholastic Showcase to celebrate our incredible students’ artwork has been moved to Sunday, February 1st 3-5.
📚💬 Teamwork in action! Our 7th graders are diving into argumentative writing—partnering up, selecting topics from a bank of Scholastic articles, and putting their evidence to work in their essays.
We’re excited to see their ideas and debates come to life!
Our second graders are bouncing through fractions with flexible seating in Mrs. Self’s class! 🧮⚽
